God Comes to the Cynical - Genesis 18:1–15 - December 10, 2023

This week, our Advent study brought us to the story of Sarah in Genesis 18. Here, we find that God comes not only to the easy believer, the Mary who is quick to say, “I am the Lord’s servant, may it be done to me as you have said,” but also to the cynic, the Sarah who scoffs at the unbelievable promises of God.
