November 20, 2022: Mark 10:32–52 - “What Do You Want Me to Do for You?”

The extent to which we are disappointed with Jesus is the extent to which we are asking him to do something for us that he never promised or intended to do. He came to save us by giving his life as a ransom and to call us to imitate him in suffering service. Do you want to see him for who he truly is and follow him? If so, he will grant that request every time. But if you're asking him to do something else for you, he can't make that promise.
